Almost 1,000 still without power after weekend storms in Omaha metro

Crews are making progress after storms early Saturday in the Omaha area left nearly 40,000 without power .

Early Monday, the Omaha Public Power District’s outage map shows just under 1,000 customers having no power. The map indicates 614 in Washington, 205 in Douglas, and 141 in Saunders counties.

OPPD was “out in full force” in the aftermath, working to restore power to customers across their service area. In its latest report , OPPD said there will be an update Monday morning.
