BLAIR, Neb. (WOWT) - This weekend’s storm brought quite the damage throughout the metro, and one of the areas most affected was Blair.
Now, the community is rebuilding in a time of disaster.
“Big clean up, big trees down, it’s just a big clean up,” Debra Martin, a Blair resident, said.
Debra Martin who lives in the area is thankful her home wasn’t touched, but she said she’s spent the weekend keeping busy seeing if others were affected.
“Our next door neighbor lost a tree right next to us, trees down on cars, so everybody is helping everybody,” Martin said.
At River View Park Resort & Marina, the Salvation Army is also lending a helping hand by serving breakfast and providing free clean up kits to those who need it.
“We’ll be out here as long as we are called upon,” Todd Andrews wi
