KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The fourth year defensive pass rusher has great length and quickness and is poised to have a big fall. Joshua Josephs is No. 19 in 30 Days 30 Vols!

Josephs said when he’s not working on the field, he likes to get to work in the kitchen.

“Like a lot of people in my family, learned how to cook from my mother, and my mother has taught basically all my sisters and my brothers,” he said.

That family is a big one too: Josephs has four sisters and three brothers. He’s the youngest of eight.

“I was able to learn a lot from them,” he said.

Josephs said he’s been working on a Jamaican dish.

“The easiest thing for me is brown stew chicken. It’s like the Jamaican thing,” he said.

It’s got ties to that big family; much of that family is from Jamaica.
