Ex-EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley has left her former co-stars in awe as she celebrated her hen-do with family and friends a year after leaving the BBC One soap.

The 49-year-old is famed for playing no-nonsense mum-of-six Karen Taylor on EastEnders from 2017 to 2024. The Walford character was adored for her kind heart, fierce protection of her kids, and her oversized clothes teamed with an untidy hairdo.

But now, one year on from her final scenes airing on BBC One, Lorraine's transformation couldn't be more different from her on-screen persona as she celebrates her forthcoming wedding.

Lorraine her partner Mark Perez have been together since 2014, and have a daughter, named Nancy, born in 2015.
