DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - Daviess County Fiscal Court is celebrating the completion of a new picnic shelter at Yellow Creek Park.
According to a press release, a ribbon cutting is set to take place on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
Officials say the event marks the most significant investment in years in the county park facilities.
They say in addition to the rebuilt Shelter #1, work is advancing on the new restroom building at Yellow Creek Park and a replacement for the Whispering Wind picnic shelter at Panther Creek Park.
Additional improvements are coming in the 2025-2026 Fiscal Year.
