Residents in a seaside town ranked amongst the worst in the UK have fought back against the critics. They have championed their home, calling it a "traditional" seaside resort with a stunning beach and welcoming people.

Fleetwood, in Lancashire, was recently labelled the fifth worst seaside town in the country by Which? It received an overall score of 46%, which considered its beach, seafront, scenery, food and drink options, accommodation, tourist attractions and value for money, reports the Express .
