FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Fort Wayne’s first cat café, Black Forest Cat Café, is only eight cats away from hitting a milestone of 1,000 cats adopted since opening in June 2022.
The cafe is currently at 992 adopted cats, and the owners of the cafe said it’s been so fulfilling watching these cats find their forever home.
Co-owners Julie and Emily Pressler said what makes their cat café stick out is the team working for them. They credit their employees as a big reason why they have had so many cats adopted in their first three years in business.
As a way to celebrate this accomplishment, Black Forest Cat Café will be offering half-priced walk-in visits this Tuesday through Friday.
Those interested in adopting a feline can visit the café’s website for more information.
