LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Monday is an exciting day for Laredo Independent School District (LISD) students—it’s the first day of school!

With the new school year starting, drivers should expect increased traffic not only on Monday but throughout the entire school year.

Laredo ISD Police Chief Doreen Hale emphasizes the importance of road safety during the back-to-school season. She highlights that, especially on the first day of school, it’s critical for everyone to stay safe as they adjust to new routines and the increased presence of school traffic.
