At 12:05 p.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service released a heat advisory valid for Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Oregon Lower Treasure Valley and Malheur County.
The weather service comments, "Temperatures up to 104 degrees expected."
"Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses, especially for the young, elderly, and animals," explains the weather service.
