LIVINGSTON CO., Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri man has been charged and accused of raping a child family member.

Livingston County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Aug. 8, indicate that Gabriel L. Carter, 47, of Mooresville has been charged with multiple child sex crimes.

A probable cause statement filed by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office revealed that on Aug. 4, investigators were made aware of a report that Carter had bragged about having sex with a minor.

The Missouri Department of Social Services indicated that the victim was interviewed, during which she said she had been working with Carter, a family member, on his farm. When the pair went back for lunch, he sexually assaulted her.
