KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A man accused of a Kansas City stabbing has been charged after he allegedly blamed the victim.

Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, Aug. 8, indicate that Shalon L. Shobe, 50, of Kansas City, has been charged in connection with a life-threatening stabbing.

A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that around 5:45 p.m. on May 21, law enforcement officials were called with reports of a disturbance.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a victim who had been stabbed so severely that his intestines were outside of his abdomen. He was taken to Research Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
