LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The Clark County Public Art Office is asking for submissions from artists for the 24th annual Life in Death art exhibition at the Dead of the Dead festival in November.
The festival honors the traditional Mexican holiday, Dia de los Muertos. The celebration is a remembrance of the dead, and the festival will feature displays, performances, art exhibits, craft sales, and food vendors.
The festival will be held on Nov. 1 and 2 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Winchester Dondero Cultural Center.
The county asked that submissions be mindful of the fact that Dia de los Muertos is distinct from Halloween and honor the holiday's true spirit.
