CLEMSON — Clemson will continue to allow fans on the field after games at Memorial Stadium despite new Atlantic Coast Conference rules and fines in 2025 regarding field- and court-storming.

Tigers fans will just have to wait and listen to the school’s alma mater first.

As part of the university’s new “ Gathering at the Paw ” procedures, Clemson is asking fans to stay off the field until the playing of the alma mater has concluded. That should give opposing teams’ players and personnel enough time to get off the field.

“Fans should stay in their seats,” the university said in an Aug. 11 press release, “and then may access the field via the Hill and the West stands once the Alma Mater is complete.”

Patience is paramount because a lack of it will come at a cost.
