HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Wathen Lane has been a headache for those who live nearby for almost two years.

They say crews are constantly moving around and changing traffic patters along the road.

Residents say they have been left in the dark, and they don’t know when it will be finished. Plus, with the road being extra narrow because of construction, it can be hard to maneuver around larger vehicles.

One local resident, Michael Austin, voiced his complaints.

“It’s just the length of the project, not knowing what’s going on,” Austin stated. “Every morning we don’t know if we’re gonna have to come out and make a 3 or 4 mile detour to get to work and the road’s awful narrow, little country road going that way, we’re meeting semis.”
