Michigan’s spring and summer fish stocking efforts have delivered nearly 19 million fish to 716 sites across the state – promising stellar fall opportunities for anglers.

Fish stocking is part of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ fisheries management, helping to provide quality fishing across the state.

The DNR operates hatcheries that rear several species of fish to restock lakes and rivers each year.
