SEABROOK, S.C. (WCSC) - The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding out what led up to a house filled with several children being shot at.
Shortly after midnight Monday, deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Fawnwood Lane in Seabrook.
When they arrived, they found a lone house that had been hit by gunfire several times.
There were no reported injuries, but 11 people, eight of which were children between the ages of six months old and 16 years old, were inside when the shots were fired.
The shooter remains unidentified, deputies say, leaving this incident under investigation.
