The thought of wearing a medieval costume outdoors during Florida’s sweltering summer is enough to make anyone sweat. That’s why husband and wife team Adam DeLancett and Whitney Hayes dreamt up their own indoor Renaissance faire.
The Magik and Mythk Festival lands at Osceola Heritage Park this weekend with more than 200 vendors, live entertainment, costumes, sword fighting, photo ops and more within 56,000 square feet of air-conditioned space. The family-friendly celebration encourages guests to “escape from reality and the blazing heat” when the event kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday.
