After Monday’s 7-6 loss to the Houston Astros , Boston has a 69.4% chance to make the postseason, according to FanGraphs . A lot can happen in the final 42 games, but ESPN believes the Red Sox still have “work to do” if they want to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2021.
