DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - Danville City Councilman Lee Vogler remains in critical condition as donations reach nearly $136,000, according to his wife, Blair Vogler, in another statement released on social media from Vogler’s employer, Showcase Magazine .

The statement reads:

“Update – 10 Days, 1,000 Donors, and Halfway to Our Goal

In just 10 days, 1,000 people from all over have come together to support Lee and his family. We are now over halfway to our goal.

This outpouring of kindness, generosity, and solidarity has been nothing short of extraordinary.
