LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - With flags and posters in hand, a group gathered in southern Indiana protesting ICE raids.

The rally happened Tuesday outside the Jeffersonville ICE facility on Court Avenue.

The group Do Something Southern Indiana organized to protest what they say is inhumane immigration enforcement and detention.

It comes as ICE raids continue across the country by order of the Trump Administration.

WAVE talked to one protester about his thoughts against the raid.

“It’s all about the money. This is a gold rush,” Protester Kyle Ellison said. “Most of these people, the majority, are not convicted of any crimes, although they are being betrayed that way with just stories of crimes here and there. The data don’t support that.“
