PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WFSB) - A husband and wife from Wauregan have been arrested after an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor.

Plainfield police were first alerted of the assault in June.

After an investigation, police found 56-year-old David Desimone had inappropriate sexual contact with a minor multiple times.

Police say his wife, Holly Desimone, knew of the assaults and did not report it to the police.

Today, David was arrested and charged with 1 count of sexual assault in the first degree, 3 counts of sexual assault in the third degree, 4 counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree, 4 counts of risk of injury to a child-illegal sexual contact and 1 count of conspiracy to commit rick of injury-illegal sexual contact.

David was released after posting his $150,00 bond. H
