The Danville Police Department is asking for help finding an inmate who escaped from a Danville Adult Detention Center work crew.
Brett Landon Parrish, 44, walked away from a worksite at about 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at H.B. Moorefield Park at 4550 Riverside Drive, according to a news release from the police department.
Parrish was last seen headed west on Riverside Drive.
He is a white male at 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds, according to the news release.
He was last known to be wearing blue jeans and a yellow T-shirt.
He is serving time for a probation violation, with an underlying charge of burglary.
The department is using police dogs and aerial assets to locate Parrish, according to the news release.
