SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - It will look and feel a lot like August across the ArkLaTex over the next week with plenty more heat and humidity on the way.

For this evening, we are tracking a handful of storms, but these should be very spotty and will quickly die out once the sun sets. It will be another warm and muggy night with lows in the mid 70s.

Wednesday will be another hot and humid day with highs in the mid 90s and feels like temperatures topping 100. We’ll see scattered storms developing during the afternoon but just like recent days, storms that develop will be spotty and not everyone will see rain.

It’s rinse and repeat for Thursday with more heat and humidity and another round of scattered storms during the afternoon.
