BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (WV News) — The Upshur County Board of Education held a brief meeting on Tuesday evening where board members reviewed a proposal for the possible closure of two elementary schools and the middle school.
Administrators have been considering this plan since the beginning of the year, Superintendent Christy Miller said.
"This is something that we first brought to the attention of the board when we had our meeting back in February regarding facilities," she said.
The plan is broken up into two parts— One for the elementary schools and one for the middle school, Miller said.
