PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - During Allison Hodge’s drive home, she said she experiences a bumpy, roller-coaster ride in Putnam County.
“It’s really frustrating, cause we just bought new tires for my vehicle,” Hodge said. “So, it kind of feels like a waste of money.”
Back in April, Charleston Area Medical Center Teays Valley Hospital said it broke ground to expand on Seville Road in Putnam County.
In August, neighbors said the construction is tearing up the road -- leaving them worried about emergency response times and how school buses will take their kids to school.
“It could tear up the buses if it hits a crack wrong,“ Hodge said. ”With school starting next week, with the condition of the road, kids won’t be able to get to and from school.”
