CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - An intersection in south Charlotte was closed Tuesday night after a deadly crash occurred, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Police said on Tuesday, Aug. 12, around 11:15 p.m. they responded to the intersection of N. Community House Road and Upper Avenue in regards to a deadly crash.

Details on what led up to the crash were not immediately available at the time of this writing.

It is unclear how many vehicles or how many people were injured in the crash.
