HONOLULU (Island News) -- A man was convicted after being found guilty of the sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old by an officer posing online as the teenage girl.
The conviction of Jessie Samejon, 35, on Tuesday follows his arrest from a soliciting sex operation in June 2024. A law enforcement officer posed online as a 15-year-old girl and Samejon agreed to pay the “teen” $150 in exchange for sexual acts.
Commercial sexual exploitation of a minor is a class B felony with a punishment of 10 years in prison. Samejon must also register as a sex offender.
