SNOQUALMIE, Wash. — Firefighters rescued a person and two dogs who were trapped when a balcony collapsed on Tuesday night, according to the Snoqualmie Fire Department and Emergency Management.
Crews responded to an apartment building on Southeast Newton Street around 9:25 p.m.
A person was standing on their balcony with two dogs when it collapsed. The person and their dogs fell into a shed below. They were rescued by firefighters, according to Snoqualmie Fire.
The person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials have not yet determined why the balcony collapsed.
Eastside Fire and Rescue, the Fall City Fire Department and Bellevue Medics also responded to the scene.
