SEATTLE — A popular Pacific Northwest ice cream chain has set a date for the opening of its newest location in Seattle.

Salt and Straw will open its doors on Friday, Aug. 29 in the Queen Anne neighborhood at 11 a.m. There will be special giveaways for the first 50 guests, and the establishment is partnering with a well-known Seattle chef in the lead up to their first day of service.

The first 50 people in line will get a complimentary cold brew from neighboring Cafe Vitta and a Salt and Straw tote bag "filled with products from some of their favorite local collaborators."
