A new thrift store is coming to the Westland Shopping Center this October, courtesy of a local nonprofit.
The Richmond chapter of St. Vincent de Paul is opening its second thrift store in the region at 8051 W. Broad St.
SVDP is taking over around 12,000 square feet, turning the space into the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store at Westland.
The St. Vincent de Paul Richmond Council covers the entire Catholic diocese of Richmond, which includes almost the entire state outside Northern Virginia. The council has nine chapters or “conferences” within it, including four in the Richmond area, three in the Virginia Beach area, one in Charlottesville and one in Roanoke.
