LEXINGTON, Ky. — Lexington's first responders and social service teams are working side by side, now under one central hub.
Since 2018, Lexington's community, social and public safety programs have worked together through the city's Community Paramedicine Program, made up of a quick response team, mobile integrated health and a crisis response team.
Now, a former annex building used for family resource services is the newly remodeled home of the Community Paramedicine Program. The program helps address crisis-based emergencies such as those of mental and behavioral health concern.
