HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN) - The District Attorney’s Office has indicted a man who police say shot and injured a man in Havelock in June.
52-year-old Anthony Parmley was arrested for the June 28th shooting in the area of 200 Roosevelt Blvd.
Havelock police say they were called to the reported shooting, where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man was airlifted to ECU Health Medical Center for further treatment.
After an investigation, police say they charged Parmley with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.
On Monday, the D.A.’s Office indicted Parmley on attempted first-degree murder.
Parmley is due back in court in September.
