The McDonald’s in Boonville has been shut down after several complaints about unsanitary conditions.

The health department closed the restaurant on West Locust Street due to bug infestations and other health concerns.

City leaders say they received several complaints on Friday and more on Monday, so the food inspector closed it up.

Inspectors went back on Monday to check the restaurant again and said no improvements were made.

The Boonville McDonald’s location will be shut down for two to three more days so crews can clean.
