BOONVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The McDonald’s in Boonville has been shut down after several complaints about unsanitary conditions.

At Monday night’s Warrick County Commissioners meeting, representatives from the health department said they closed the restaurant on West Locust Street due to bug infestations and multiple health concerns.

Leaders say they received several complaints on Friday and more on Monday, so the food inspector shut it down.

Inspectors went back Monday to check the restaurant again, and said no improvements were made.

Leaders say the McDonald’s will be shut down for two to three more days so crews can clean and spray for bugs.
