HOPEWELL, N.Y. (WROC) — One person is dead after a vehicle crash on 5 and 20 in the Town of Hopewell.

Police received a call around 7 a.m. and responded to the scene near Mumby Road. News 8 was told the driver of the car, who was the only one inside, had died.

It is unknown what the cause of the crash is. The name of the victim has not been revealed.

The crash remains under investigation.
