ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Yesterday, Ontario County Deputies and West Lake Road Fire Department responded to a large barn fire on 668 Reed Road in Geneva, around 10:07 p.m. • Crews working on Reed Rd. barn fire • Barn fire on Reed Rd

When they arrived, the barn was engulfed in flames. Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but the barn was completely destroyed.

The homeowner was home at the time but was not injured.

The Fire Coordinator says that an electric fence charger was the cause of the fire.

Finger Lakes Ambulance, White Springs, Geneva, Benton, Bellona, Stanley, Hall, Gorham, Seneca Castle, Penn Yan, Himrod, Oaks Corners, North Side, and Border City Fire Departments all responded to the scene.
