ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — This morning, around 7:41 a.m., one man died in a tractor-trailer accident on Interstate 90 in Phelps, says the New York State Police.

The tractor-trailer was traveling west on the thruway when it drifted off the road, along the right shoulder guardrails, and turned over onto its side. The trailer, carrying non-dangerous miscellaneous products, remained attached to the truck.

The male 40-year-old driver was pronounced deceased at the scene by Troopers. Then, they were transported to Geneva General Hospital.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
