Jolene Shupe Wangsgard, 86, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 11, 2025 in North Logan, Utah.

Born on May 8, 1939, in Ogden, Utah, Jolene was the daughter of Lawrence Brigham Shupe and Delores Martha Shupe (Ellis). She grew up alongside her older sister Nona Lou Shupe (Grondel), and her older brother, Lamont Ellis Shupe.

Jolene attended school in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1957. Following high school, she worked at the Bon Marché department store.
