ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Three people were hurt injured after a car that was speeding away from police crashed into an apartment building in Buckhead on Tuesday night, according to authorities.

Atlanta police said they responded to 741 Morosgo Drive NE, the address for the CORE at Lindbergh apartments, “in reference to a vehicle colliding with a building.”

Two passengers in the vehicle and a woman inside the building when the crash happened were taken to the hospital. Police said all three were alert, conscious, and breathing.

“Somebody could’ve been hurt. The lady that was in there, I know that she’s kind of shook up about that. She wasn’t expecting that and she honestly could’ve been more hurt. I’m glad that she’s OK,” said Rochelle McKinley, who lives in the building.
