The first batch of customers to try McDonald’s new milkshake have shared a wide range of reactions from grimacing to lovin’ the taste.

The Mt. McDonaldland Shake dropped Tuesday, Aug. 12 — sending dozens of customers to their local restaurant to try the sugary concoction for themselves.

McDonald’s describes the milkshake as having “hints of berry flavor” with a “colorful, cloud-like pink Dairy Whipped Topping made with real cream.”

Most customers who have tried the shake thus far have said it mostly tastes like blue raspberry mixed with milk. One TikTok user even compared the flavor to Starbursts’ blue raspberry drink mix.
