VERMILION COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - The Vermilion County Board is warning people about a scam soliciting money on behalf of their chairman.

The Vermilion County Board said an unauthorized person is texting and soliciting money and gift cards from people on behalf of Vermilion County Chairman Steve Miller.

The board warns people not to click any links they are sent.
