GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — A man has been arrested and charged after one person was injured in a shooting earlier this month, according to Greensboro police.
On Aug. 4 at 9:17 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 2000 block of Veasley Street, but no victim was located. A gunshot victim with non-life-threatening injuries arrived at the hospital via private vehicle shortly afterwards.
On Wednesday, Tyrone Lee Harris, 49, of Greensboro, was arrested and served with warrants for the following charges: • Attempted first-degree murder • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon • Felony carrying a concealed weapon • Felony conspiracy and • Discharging a firearm within the city limits
Harris is currently being held in the Guilford County Jail.
