DENVER (KDVR) — A man who was wanted for allegedly providing alcohol to minors at a closed business in Estes Park and failing to register as a sex offender has turned himself in to police.

Last week, the Estes Park Police Department asked the public to contact law enforcement if anyone knew where 44-year-old David Morales was located.

On Tuesday, Morales turned himself in to the Larimer County Jail, the police department said Wednesday in a post on Facebook.

The investigation began in February after a report that he allegedly held a party at the Twisted Griffin Pub and Restaurant, located at 247 W. Elkhorn Ave, which was permanently closed at the time. The report alleged that Morales was serving alcohol to minors.
