McKenzie Health System is hosting a session on Alzheimer's disease as part of its Healthy Living Together series.
The event, titled "Understanding Alzheimer's Disease," is set for noon to 1 p.m. Aug. 20 in the McKenzie Health System Dining Room, 120 Delaware St., Sandusky, according to a community announcement. Lunch will be available for $5, and a virtual attendance option via Zoom is also available.
Douglas Lobdell, a licensed social worker from the Alzheimer's Association, will discuss the signs, symptoms, risk factors and stages of Alzheimer's disease, along with strategies for care and support.
