Cornwall’s Jordan Bishop rushed for nearly 2,000 yards last year, put on 20-plus pounds in the offseason and is primed for a big junior season.

The scouting world is certainly taking notice.

Bishop has been invited to participate in the Navy All-American Bowl national combine in January in San Antonio, Texas. The event features the top 600 underclassmen in the country.

“That is a legit combine, it is not a gimmick or a money grab,” Cornwall football coach Kevin Arduino said. “There will be some big-time running backs there, and I think Jordan is right there with them. He just doesn’t get the attention because he is from New York.”
