NEW CITY – A 41-year-old Congers man has pled guilty in Rockland County Court to charges of criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance.

When sentenced, Donovan Mais was expected to receive six to seven years in prison along with in-prison drug treatment, and three years of post-release supervision.

On March 22 at 1 p.m., Spring Valley Police officers observed Mais and another man engage in a drug transaction on North Madison Avenue in the village.

Officers found $75 in cash and 16 vials of crack cocaine on Mais. They also saw the other man toss something away, but recovered three vials of crack cocaine.
