SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Analysts report that the price of coffee is up nearly 15 percent compared to this time last year and now, people should expect that figure to go up even more due to new 50 percent tariffs on Brazil.
Melissa Manion of Enfield usually drives to one of the furthest parts of Springfield for the beverage that gets her going in the morning. She is, however, keeping an eye on how much she spends. “It is why I actually drive all the way from Enfield because I’d much rather provide for people who are trying to give a good service. They’re just living the same way the rest of us are living and (I’d) rather do that than a Starbucks or something like that,” she said.
For a lot of people, coffee is a must-have, especially when trying to get through the morning. At Soc
