MOORHEAD — A Fargo man was arrested early Wednesday, Aug. 13, hours after he allegedly robbed an acquaintance at knifepoint at a north Moorhead apartment.

A release from the Moorhead Police Deptarment said officers responded to the 3300 block of Third Avenue North at 1:40 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery. The victim did not have any physical injuries and reported the suspect, who was known to the victim and identified as Deshun Jones, 49, fled the scene by jumping out a second story window.

A Clay County Sheriffs Deputy K9 responded and conducted a track for Jones, which was unsuccessful, according to the release. The knife that was reportedly used in the robbery was located at the scene and seized as evidence.
