SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - After a promising start Wednesday morning, rain has once again been rather limited for most of Wednesday afternoon. The chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms will return on Thursday before decreasing this weekend.

Will the rain continue? Look for what’s left of the scattered showers and thunderstorms to wind down on Wednesday evening. We will then see a partly to mostly cloudy sky on Wednesday night with a slight chance for more rain. Scattered storms will return on Thursday, reaching their peak during the afternoon before ending during the evening. Rain will be possible again on Friday, but it should be much more isolated.
