Well folks, as we look at the extended forecast for our area, it's your classic summer pattern that's continuing to grip us here in Southern Indiana. We're talking about that typical summer-time heat, and we're certainly going to feel it! Through Thursday, anticipate daily high temperatures hovering in the upper 80s to lower 90s. What makes things feel even hotter is the humidity; we'll be looking at heat indices climbing into the 90s during the afternoons, so make sure you're staying hydrated and taking precautions. We're also keeping an eye on the sky for chances of those pop-up showers and thunderstorms, especially today and tonight, mostly focused over areas to our west.
